Foreigners in Denmark cannot vote in federal/state elections, however they can vote in local municipality (kommune) and regional elections. This is possible after living in Denmark for four years. For those unable to become citizens yet, or waiting throughout the application process, this is an amazing chance to have a democratic say in the area you live in.
